Hiking Mt. Timpanogos
Winston's time at home came and went by so fast! He was home for three weeks before he had to turn around and leave for Utah. He will be attending BYU-Provo this fall and he is so excited. Before school started, he had a few housekeeping items he needed to take care of like moving into his dorm, stocking up his refrigerator, buying sheets, and new student orientation; however, since these things didn't take all day the boys i.e. my husband and my other son planned a hiking trip up to the top of Mt. Timpanogos. It is the second-highest mountain in the Wasatch Mountain Range at 11, 752 feet. I guess they decided to go big or go home. Their morning started at 6:45 and then got to the peak by 1 p.m. and they finished at 6 p.m. This hike is definitely not for the weak at heart. They had a great day!

That was quite an accomplishment on August 24 for Father & Sons!
The weather did cooperate perfectly well and what an endurance for more than 11 hours to climb up and come down again from such height.
How special to find a book at the very top, for leaving your names...
Hoping it is shielded well enough from the elements.
Oh, how the time is flying... We're already into September.
Hard to keep up with life.
Hugs,
