Paris Day 1

We departed Butzbach on the 6:45 a.m. train to Frankfurt, then transferred to an ICE high-speed train for Paris.  The train ended up not being as fast as someone threw themselves in front of the train before us, which ended up delaying our arrival in Paris by three hours.  So sad!  Once we arrived in Paris, we checked our luggage into a storage locker and headed straight for the Eiffel Tower. Where else would you go when visiting Paris?  The girls were so excited.  After seeing the Eiffel from all angles, we then grabbed some Chinese food before heading to our Airbnb.  Getting around Paris is super easy. We arrived at our accommodations without any issues and settled in for a good night's rest to ensure we got enough sleep for our day at Disney.  I almost forgot our obligatory crepe. Also, one more thing I don't want to forget was the blooming jasmine, or maybe it was an orange blossom, on our walk toward the tower.  It smelled so lovely!

Dearest Kelleyn,
On my final day in Limburg, there was no time for reading any blogs or commenting. So since I've arrived safely home yesterday, I am slowly catching up on things.
What a great day you had in Paris; regarding the tragic suicide in front of your fast train... May he/she rest in peace!
Bubbly story and photos!
Hugs,
Mariette

Loved your photos of Paris.

So sad about the suicide though.

Happy Monday, Kelleyn.
