The Wawel
On the day Frank went to Auschwitz with Roman, the girls and I went into the city with our friends. Our first stop was the Wawel Castle. While we didn't go into the castle itself, we did go into the chapel. It is gorgeous. Sadly, no pictures can be taken inside except on top of the bell tower. We got the audio tour and I was actually surprised at how well the kids enjoyed the tour. After going into the chapel we went to find the dragon. It was a good morning.

Wow, Krakow truly is full of treasures like Wawel Castle!
Stunning photographs and it looks like your girls continue sight seeing with their familiar friends from across the Pond.
ENJOY whatever you are up to.
Wish we could see all that, we always have loved all the Eastern European countries but never made it into Poland.
Good thing is that Pieter's book did: https://mariettesbacktobasics.blogspot.com/2020/07/polish-mushroom-scientist-friend.html
Just WISH your Polish friend could somehow find Karol Bukowski, the son of Pieter's scientist friend... The only Polish person mentioned in my post has not been of ANY help.
Big hugs,
Mariette
