Rudesheim am Rhein

Rudesheim am Rhein is located just 45 minutes west of Frankfurt and is a darling wine town located on the Rhein. We had the pleasure of visiting this town with my friend Lorraine and her family at the end of July. It was a lovely afternoon. While in Rudelsheim we took the gondola up to see the Niederwaldenkmal Monument which is in commemoration of the Franco-Prussian War. Afterward, we enjoyed a wonderful meal of schnitzel and then followed it with ice cream. The day couldn't have been more perfect.
