Back to School

Hi!  How are you?  I just got from Alaska yesterday and boy am I tired.  Nothing like taking a red-eye home and having to go straight back into the thick of things.  I am starting to believe I just may be too old for those red-eye flights.  They are ruff!  Anyways, the kids started back to school two weeks ago and so far all is going well.  Everyone likes their teachers and we are slowly getting back into the routine of things.  Winston finishes his last week of work, started his senior and final year of high school and is running again this year on the cross country running team.  He said he ran his best 5K the other day and he is looking forward to this season.  Roman started 7 grade and is excited for a new year in drama.  They are going to be performing footloose in February.  Addy started 3rd grade and is going to start running.  I hope she likes it!  Avery started 2nd grade and has declared herself an artist.  I am always finding her sketching and coloring in her free time.  Sadly, she is too young to join the running team, but we will be doing some swim lessons here in September. Ivy started Kindergarten.  Can't believe I don't have anyone in preschool. It is strange to have that season in our life over.  Well, I better get going.  I gotta run to physical therapy and then to the store as our refrigerator is empty.  Stay tuned for pictures from Alaska and if you haven't seen pictures from Hersey, Pennsylvania click on the previous post.  Oh, I should mention that the boys refused to let me take pictures of them on the first day of school so no pictures of them.  Have a great day!

Welcome home, Mom! Lots of fun and everyone getting used to the new schedules! The girls are lovely...and I sure do understand boys that don't want photos. Too bad. You could capture them in their sleep maybe! Nah.

Quite a lot for them to do now.
After a busy summer of travel, it looks like the school year will also be a busy one with everyone involved in activities. Cute back to school photos in this post. Hope you take time to rest up.
