The Reunion
How has it been 30 years since I graduated from high school? I used to think people my age were so old. I don't feel old at least mentally. Sometimes my body feels old, but that is another story. Anyway, we met the first night at a restaurant called Table 7. I was a little nervous seeing everyone because some of the people I haven't seen since we graduated and other since the 10-year reunion; however, I had nothing to worry about. It was so much fun to catch up with everyone. Gone were the distinctions of clicks or groups and everyone was just happy to see each other. This year has been a ruff one as we have lost a few classmates this year. I think we all just realize how precious life is and I also think at our age no one cares anymore what side of the track you grew up on or if you were a jock, a nerd, or preppy. On a side note, the food at Table 7 is really good!!! The second night we met for dinner at dancing at the Captain Cook Hotel. It was a wonderful two days.
