Down Below

Hi!  How are you?  I hope you have had a good start in 2019! We were up rather late last night as the fireworks were endless.  They started around 6 p.m. and didn't end until after 1 a.m.  I am pooped and probably will suffer from PTSD.  If there were any bad spirits in the area, they are most definitely gone.   It's raining here on the North Shore, so we are headed south towards Diamond Head and Waikiki today.  We need to get the kids out of the house as it was also raining yesterday.   Anyways, while we were here in Hawaii my big boys had the opportunity to go scuba diving 4 times.  They went with Banzai Divers and my husband said he would highly recommend their service.  They had such a great time.  Highlights of their experience were diving in the Sea Tiger Wreck, seeing green turtles, seeing monk seals, and getting up close to the white tip reef sharks. Diving to the wreck took them 110 feet down below the surface.  My husbands says the water was so clear and the wildlife was abundant. Sadly they didn't see any whales. I almost forgot about ending their dives with a visit to L & L BBQ where they enjoyed the Chicken Katzu plates and Chicken Rice Bowls.  So so yummy! Well, we are off!  Happy New Year!

Those shots are so clear, did you go scuba diving or snorkeling to take them? What a gas and kind of brave, I've always wanted to go but it seems scary too. What a fantastical world there is to see (and photograph) though.
That is a lot of fireworks, I thought Rhythm and Booms was a lot, yikes I can see how you'd be a little buggy after all that but I bet they were cool.
Happy New Year to you and the gang.
