The first month of our European adventure has flown by. I am trying to soak up every minute of our experience here the good and the bad.  One thing we were blessed with was amazing weather. We try to go to the pool as much as possible. Our small town has a really cool outdoor pool that sits on a hill overlooking our small village. The view is spectacular and you can see for miles. Another blessing was that Roman and Addy were able to start school right away. They made friends and have now dipped their toes in the German school system. Avery and Ivy got to sneak peek at their schools but were not able to attend due to their ages and lack of space. I am totally excited about Ivy's preschool. It is spectacular!  I love their philosophy and all the things she is going to get to experience next year while attending. The third blessing was our church congregation is wonderful here and everyone is so friendly. We attended a church BBQ or as they call it here Grillen on a day that was marked for a holiday. Apparently, not a national holiday as my friends in Berlin did not have the day off. We were invited to one member's home for dessert and had an opportunity to meet other families from our congregation as well as several members invited us to go swimming with them (mentioned above) or to go play at the park. We are also grateful that the children are getting to spend time with their Oma, Opa, Aunt, and Cousin Marc as they don't otherwise get to see them!  Except for the few hiccups mentioned in the previous post, we are having a wonderful time exploring and getting to know our new home. I am so grateful we get to have this experience.
