The Eagle Has Landed

Over the last six years, my son has participated in the Boy Scout program and it has been such a blessing to him and to our family.  It has given him the opportunity to experience things he would not otherwise had a chance to experience such as learning to scuba dive which he learned with his father and other members from his troop, to hiking in the national forest, learning to cook, personal management, and deep sea fishing. These are just a few of the activities because honestly the list could go on. He also learned how to serve his country and others in the community.  He was surrounded by wonderful men who gave of their time freely and who are hard working members of society.  Last night, Harris became and Eagle Scout and we couldn't be more pleased. Congratulations to Harris!  You did it!  We are so proud of you!  We are also thankful to the men who helped get him to this point Chris Maycock, Tim Palmer, Tony Peterson, Larry Lubin, Doyle Delap, Norm Johnson, and Sandy Bartlett.  I know I am missing a few mens names because really this all began when he was 8 and entered into the cub scout program. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to the program and supporting our son. It really does take a village to raise a child and we couldn't have done it without your support.

Love the expression you used that it takes a village for a boy to grow up as a responsible citizen! Congrats to your son and to the others who became Eagle Scouts! Yes, be proud of your son! Wonderful you wanted to share this big event with ALL SEASONS! Have a beautiful week!
