Proud to Be an American

Despite all that has taken place over the last couple of months here in the United States and even the last week there is still so much good.  I am proud to be an American and so is my family.  My forefathers and relatives have fought for this country.  The have fought for the right to speak freely and the right to worship freely.  These rights I wish for all.

Here, here! I share your sentiments completely. One nation, under God, indivisible, with freedom and liberty for all. The greatest nation in the world. My forefathers, also, have fought for this nation. Thanks for the wonderful photo. Susan

I am a Brit BUT I am married to an American and I am proud of that fact too. I hope America can find its way through this uncertain and scary time

Sweet photos. I a Dutch. In everyday life Dutch people are not particularly overt in their patriotism – after all, our principle of "doe normaal" doesn’t allow for such open displays of emotion or country-pride. But I like yours!
