A Community

One of the things I didn't know when we began the adoption process 4 years ago was the community of friends I would gain who would support me not just through the process but continue to be my friend years afterward.  I am lucky to have become friends with some amazing families who I would not have otherwise not had the opportunity to meet unless we had adopted.  This sweet family shares more than just adoption with me, but the fact that their daughter is from the same orphanage as mine. It is unlikely that they played with one another as the children are divided by age group and therefore were in different rooms, but I pray that these girls will be able to build a friendship that will help them deal with all the emotions that comes from being adopted.  I was additionally blessed to get the opportunity to take their photos this weekend.

Greetings to you. Life will be very lonely without the community of friends to encourage and walk alongside us. Have a beautiful day!
