3 years
It has been 3 years since we saw Avery's face for the very first time. A beautiful sunny day here in Atlanta and we got the call from our adoption agency in Colorado that they had a file of a little girl who was just a little shy of being two years old. We were ecstatic! It was like Christmas day but so much more! She has been the best gift anyone could have given our family. I don't know all the reasons behind her being given up for adoption, but I am very grateful her mother choose life and she is in our family today.
3 years ago, she was hardly walking. Only said mama and had no chore body strength. While she self-feed herself she still drank primarily all her meals from a bottle, she was not potty-trained, and was primarily on the level of a one year old. She was tiny!
Today, she loves Peppa Pig, playing dolls, singing (always singing), swim, she is very creative, a good friend, and can do everything that an almost 5 year old can do. Avery has now lived with us longer than she has lived in China. How the time has gone by so fast! Happy Referral Day Avery!

When you have children, in a week so many things may have happened, it seems a month, so a kind reminder that SEASONS has resumed again yesterday! Hope to see you there before Wednesday 7 pm Pacific time:)
