Rejuvenation "Corner View"

The weather has still been up and down, but the days are getting longer and with that I am starting to feel rejuvenated.  I think I told you that I have a friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer.  I have never had chemotherapy, but from what I understand it is not fun at all.  She is on a pretty strong dose since this cancer has been acting pretty aggressively.  The week she has the treatment it is as if she has a really bad stomach flu, but yet 24 hours later you are still sick.  She then has two weeks off and begins the process all over again  if her white blood counts are good. Many of her friends have been watching her children or bringing her meals, but I thought I would bring her a brown sugar body scrub.  I though it may help her feel rejuvenated if only for a few minutes. I know winter has left my skin feeling dry and will short weather just around the corner I think this body scrub is a perfect remedy.  It is super simple to make too! Combine 1 cup of brown sugar and 1 cup of white sugar along with 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract.  Then place in a glass jar or a plastic container and  cover with oil oil.  The sugar will exfoliate the skin while the oil with make it soft .Corner View is a weekly appointment - each Wednesday - created by Jane of Spain Daily, where bloggers from all corners of the world share their view on a pre-arranged theme.
