Earlier this week, I spent much of my time in the garden. I cannot tell you how happy I am that in this house I will finally have hydrangeas. They are my favorite flower. We also planted some strawberries and we will plant some pumpkins and zucchinis next week. It seems we have a pair of doves living in the trees around our house. I could hear them cooing. I love that sound. The smell of the warm earth was intoxicating too!
On Tuesday, we took the boys along with my mother to the open house of the Georgia Atlanta Temple. The inside is stunning. It was really special to be able to share something that is so special to us with our children.
On Friday, the two younger boys participated in the neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt! They had a blast looking for eggs, eating the loot, and getting to know some of our new neighbors. I love our new neighborhood. I can't say enough how friendly everyone is and boy are their lots of children. Later that evening, I went to see Water for Elephants with some girlfriends. It was excellent! Just as good as the book!
It is Saturday now, the Easter bunny came early. He knows we wanted to spend Sunday remembering the Saviors mission. The boys spent their morning decorating Easter eggs. They actually look pretty good this year. No brown multicolored eggs! Later this afternoon we will have our family Easter egg hunt, but for now, the boys are enjoying playing their new Xbox Sports Kinect game. By the sound of it, they are having a ton of fun.
Happy Easter!
