Potluck
This is a post where I dump a bunch of photos that don't make up a post on their own but deserve to be noted. We spent a total of a month in Provo. We rented a house through Air B & B, and sadly I didn't get a picture of the house. I meant to take one, but then I would get busy and obviously forget. The house was built in the 1920's I think and so I guess that would make the house a bungalow. The house was super cute and perfectly located in the center of town. While we were in Utah we were able to visit with our son Harris who flew in from San Francisco on two different occasions and we were able to visit with our son Winston who is currently living there while he attends university. My mom who drove with us out there stayed till the 5th of July and then Frank flew in on the 9th after coming home from Germany. He drove with us back home. While we were in Utah we really got to live the quintessential Utah summer. It was wonderful. We didn't have a chance to get to see everything we wanted, but we made a good dent. This means we will definitely go back. We really tried to create a balance between relaxing and adventuring. One thing that Roman did while he was there was go to this boxing studio in Payson. His coach is up and running for the next summer Olympics. He also bought himself a summer pass to the rec center and he worked out multiple times during the week with his dad and his brothers. Utah for sure is creating a special place in our hearts. Georgia is still number 1, but Utah is pretty fantastic in the summer. While we were there we also got to see many of our friends which was a lot of fun.
One of our many trips to Blaze Pizza. The children love it because they can create their own pizza. Took the girls to see Barbie. Not at all what I expected. It is not a movie for kids, but more of a dialogue about women's place in the world. While I have nothing against talking about this subject it was a little hard for the girls to understand what was going on. The movie tried to smoosh too much into one movie and so it left me lost and confused and I am an adult. The girls still said they liked it.
Wanted to go swimming in Lake Utah only to discover that there was no beach.
Saw our friend Saana Mauve
Ate Dragon Balls at the Nitrogen ice cream place
Saw our friend Yvanna and our friend the Andreggs
Saw our friend Abby
We tried Swig and Dutch Brothers
Visited many beautiful temples.
