Jackson Hole, Wyoming

After leaving Utah, we drove to Jackson Hole, Wyoming.  While the town itself is an overpriced tourist trap, it led us to our ultimate desire which was to see the Grand Tetons.  The Grand Tetons are a gem.  Gorgeous!  My recommendation if you can is to maybe stay in a much smaller town a couple of hours away from the park and see the park in a day or maybe think about camping.  The prices are outrageous and that is for just an ordinary room that is nothing special.  Another tip for visiting the Grand Tetons is to book more than 6 months in advance.  Hotels are limited so it is really hard to get a room in town.  Visiting is honestly so worth it though because the beauty of the park and mountains is just breathtaking.

Dearest Kelleyn,
So glad that you got to visit the Grand Tetons in WY!
They truly are majestic mountains that one must have seen once in a lifetime.
Did spend two nights at Jenny Lake Lodge and indeed, early booking is a MUST.

We encountered traffic problems due to the recent flooding and the north and west entrance to Yellow Stone still being closed.
Happy pictures of the family!
Hugs,
Mariette
