Nashville

As much as we are going up to Nashville these days, I am starting to feel like it is our second home.  A 3 hour and 45-minute drive makes it easy for us to go up there as often as we want and will many good friends there it is hard to not feel the pull, and despite going often I feel like we have barely made a dent in all the things to see and do there.  We arrived on Saturday afternoon and attending German school in the morning.  We unpacked our things and from there I went to go do a photoshoot for a good friend's daughter who just had a baby a month ago. It is fun seeing the circle of life. The young woman I did the session for was at my wedding many years ago. Bach at the hotel the girls at pizza and swam in the hotel pool with grandma and grandpa.  The following day which you have already seen the photos from if you saw my previous post we went out to Leipers Forks, drove along the Natchez Parkway and went to Gentry's Farm.  Afterward, we met our good friends for dinner at Buca di Beppo. Who doesn't like Spaghetti right?  On Monday, we went to the Loveless Cafe, ate ice cream with some other friends at Ce Ce's in Franklin and then went to the movies to see Abominable.  The kids really liked the movie.  Our final day Tuesday, we spent the morning at Cheekwood followed by lunch at Milk and Honey and then ice cream at Jenni's.  Then we drove out to Arrington to have dinner with our friends and go swimming.  It was a great 4 days.

That pumpkin house is so cool - I've never seen anything like it! My favorite photo is the pumpkin with the curly stem

Loved all the figures you featured- the craziest is the white bird(?). The pumpkin house tops it all! Sounds like a bus weekend, but I know that keeps the kids from being bored:) Much thanks for sharing this fun weekend with All Seasons! Enjoy your Autmumn week:)

I want to make a scarecrow now!
That pumpkin house was simply amazing as were all the decorated scarecrows and pumpkin people. I liked the ones with Wizard of Oz characters and looks like your children had a fun time posing with all.
I am sure that the children had a lot of fun.

Oh my goodness, I love them all...especially the pumpkin house! I drove through Nashville on the way home yesterday...all the way from Memphis to Asheville NC.
Lots of fun pumpkins and scarecrows. - Margy

Here on Tamborine Mountain (South-East Queensland, Australia) a couple of weeks ago was the annual Scarecrow Festival. Your photos remind me of the fun people have creating the wide, imaginative variety of scarecrows.

The pumpkin dwellings are terrific!

Only just a few minutes ago did I discover your comment on one of my previous posts...sorry for being so slack. Thanks for visiting. You are always welcome. :)
