Roman "Each Day is a Gift"
A few months ago, I submitted a photograph of my son and I to a contest for photos that best depict being a mother. Our photo didn't win the contest, but last month they came back to ask me to write up the story behind the photo. See our third son was born with a Congenital Heart Disease and we didn't know if he would live or not. You can find his story featured on the Power of Moms blog.

Lately, this little boy cracks me up with some of the things he says. Like he told me the other day when I asked him to do something he told me he was too busy. I also love the way he mis-pronounces mine and say,"Is this mines." I can't get enough of this child. He is so delicious!

Beautiful,

I know it is not the same as watching your son go through this, but I understand the feeling of the daily battle and the daily worry. It is amazing how the Lord can give you the stength beyond what you thought you could handle. The beauty of the pain is that if we allow ourselves, we can turn around and comfort and help others that are going through the same hurt. Thanks for sharing!
