Happy 4th of July
Happy 4th of July!
We spent the 4th of July by beginning our day with a Pancake Breakfast at the church. The Boy Scouts raised the flag, the pledge of allegiance was said, and the National Anthem was song. Afterward the children rode their bikes and scooters in a little mini-parade in the parking lot and fire crackers were set off. My friend Lucy and her family, my friend Sandra, and my mom came over for a BBQ. Then it was off to the pool. In the evening we watched the fireworks in a neighboring town.

PS: Lots of Germans in France. I think the mentalities are actually quite similar. Just don't tell anybody that I've said that. :)
