Austin Part 2

Day two started with Frank going to the gym and me spending time reading my book.  Harris was finishing up his event launch later that day, so we had some time to explore Austin and the surrounding area.  Once showered, we went downstairs and ate at the hotel's burger restaurant.  I would say the food was pretty good.  Not amazing, but good.  We stayed in the AC/Otis Hotel.  First time I saw two brands located in the same building.  I really liked the decor.  Then we drove about 45 minutes west to see the Hamilton Pools and Reimer Ranch Preserve.  You can't tell from the picture, but there is an actual waterfall behind us.  Sadly, it was just at a trickle. We were so grateful for the beautiful weather, as it was in the 30's when we left Atlanta, and it was cold the night before in Austin.  The temps got up into the mid 70's. Following the excursion, we drove to Harris's factory to see the house he had built with his co-founders.  Pictures to follow as soon as we get the OK to publish the pictures. It was fun to meet Harris's friends and to see what he accomplished.  At the event, they even served some BBQ from a local place called Leroy and Lewis BBQ.  Apparently, they have a Michlan star.
