Jamestown and a few misc iphone photos
On Sunday, Ivy went with our neighbor girls to the Jamestown Settlement. I had gone years ago, Avery didn't want to go and Addy was having a bit of a meltdown, so I felt it was best to keep her back and let her have some downtime at the resort. While the others were away, we three played basketball and ate ice cream. It was just what she needed. She sometimes gets a little too overstimulated. The other girls really enjoyed going to Jamestown. Jamestown was settled in 1607 which was 17 years after Roanoke and 13 years before Plymouth Rock in MA. Once the girls got home, we went bowling, watched a movie, played games, and went swimming. If you love history, Virginia is such a fantastic place to go because there is so much to see and do. This concludes our trip for Presidents Day. The girls had school on Wednesday, so we spent all of Tuesday driving back.

What a wonderful crisp day to be there—great photos!
It no doubt is tough for getting all girls motivated all the time for seeing things like that but you handled it well.
Oh, the long drive back is always a kind of a punishment but it still was worth it!
