Loss

Oh, Captain!  My Captain!  You will be missed!  Today we lost our good friend Michele to cancer.  It was only three weeks ago that he got his diagnosis and now he is gone.  While our communication was limited from our lack of speaking Italian we understood each other and we could always feel his generosity and kindness. We will remember eating dinner with you at Galora in Rome sitting underneath the stars.  Your extreme generosity to take me out on your boat while Frank was in business meetings.  Always making sure we were well taken care of when we visited Elba.  Frank and you getting expresso and diet coke in the mornings before the rest of us made our way down to the beach.  Your piercing blue eyes and great fashion sense. You were passionate about soccer and racecars and most importantly your family.  Till we meet again!
