Labor Day Staycation

It was a no brainer after all the summer travel that we needed to just chill and kickback.  We spent the day close to home by going to Lake Lanier.  The kids had a great day.  Roman's friend Toby joined us for the afternoon. The two of them brought their fishing pools and spent their time fishing.  In the end, they ended up catching a two-pound Catfish.  They released it.  We ended the day by swinging through Andy's Frozen Custard.

Another event in these lovely kids' lives...thanks for noting it here. I'm trying to comment on blogs that I read so folks will know that they are being read, not just sitting out in cyber-space. I appreciated your posts of your travels all summer as well.

A staycation is a good vacation.
With a name like Andy's Frozen Custard, it's just got to be good. Sounds like a perfect staycation.
