Gratitude

Galatians 5:13-14 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
This past weekend, Winston traveled with a group of members from our church congregation to help serve those who homes and community have been devastated from hurricane Michael.  I am so grateful for a son who loves to serve and gave freely of his time to help those in need.  Since mid-October, members of our church community have sent over 11,000 members and spent countless hours helping those in North Carolina and Florida. While I was not able to attend because my children are too little to be of service, I am grateful that I belong to a church that believes in reaching out and helping others.  The last couple of months here in the United States has been heartbreaking with the amount of devastation that has occurred. Praying 2019 will be a year of recovery. So proud of you Winston!
