Celebrate
Hello! I hope you have had a smashing week. It has been crazy busy around here, even though Frank and Ivy are in Utah. They went to Utah to go skiing. The week was filled with just the daily grind of life and some really fun events. On Thursday, though I have no photos to show, R.S. had a Favorite Things Galentine's Party for the women at church at Ashley's home. It was a lot of fun. Good fun and it is always fun to see what gift you walk away with the end of the day. Lipstick, a Target vase, and a purse were among the favorite items repeatedly stolen until they could no longer be stolen. Stolen, meaning each woman chooses a number, and the gifts are chosen in numerical order. You can take one from the pile or take a gift that was previously selected from the pile until everyone walks away with an item. I walked away with a beautifully scented candle. Addy's track team hosted a meet at the school the same night. On Friday, we went to dinner, as per tradition, to carb-load before a meet. On Saturday, Addy had to be at the Track by 10:30 a.m.; however, she didn't actually run until 12:30. We eventually left by 1:30 p.m., got lunch, and then drove over to Costco because we were out of Nutella. Then it was to Sephora to pick up a birthday gift. We were out the door again by 6 p.m. because our friends were having a Chinese New Year's party. We only stayed for a short time before going to the birthday party. It was so much fun. I am absolutely exhausted today, but Avery has tutoring today, and I need to pick up Frank and Ivy from the airport. Spring is coming as the trees are starting to bloom, and I saw my first daffodils yesterday. Ok, well, I'd better go! Till next time!
