Day 4 Soller

 

Mallorca surprised me with how gorgeous it is!  Just when you think it couldn't get prettier, it does! The town of Soller is located in the Northwest corner of the island, surrounded by the mountains and minutes from the sea.  The valley that hosts the city of Soller is dotted with orange groves and olive trees.  A favorite with hikers and bikers, the town of Soller is a typical Mediterranean old town with narrow, brick-lined streets. Cafes and shops line the streets, making the city more charming. We arrived on a Sunday morning and were delighted to see a small market in front of the local church. A group of singers entertained those around them. After spending some time in the local shops, we stopped for treats before heading back to the hotel. I would definitely go back.
