Happy New Year!

As it goes another year has come and gone.  It has been a year filled with hardship and blessings, but I suppose that is no different than any other year and I suppose that is no different than anyone else's year.  I am grateful for all of it and I am looking forward to what 2020 has to bring. What are you looking forward to in 2020? I am looking forward to my son Winston graduating from high school in the spring.  He will be leaving for a mission. We plan to go to Germany again this summer and I will be flying to Utah in March to learn how to do night photography. On Facebook and Instagram, lots of people have been doing the 10-year challenge.  So I thought I would play along here on my blog. crazy to think I started this blog 11 years ago and have published 1799 posts since then. When I started this blog I was a mother to 3 boys and have since added 3 beautiful daughters of which two we have adopted from China.  If you had told me back then I would be a mother to six children I would have told you that you were crazy.  My husband and I have now celebrated 22 years of marriage.  We moved homes and then moved to Germany only to move back 14 months later. We now have one son in college and one soon to be in college.  We have added more than a dozen countries to our list of countries we have seen.  I have opened a photography business and made countless friends. Said goodbye to friends which has only taught me to treat each day as it was my last and that each day is precious. Looking forward to this next decade.
