Catching Up
It has been a week since we have been home. I am so happy. I love Georgia. I love the sun and the 90-degree weather. I love when it is still in the 70's at 9p at night. I love the red dirt, my swimming pool, and blooming flowering trees. I have been so busy this week trying to catch up. This week I unpacked and put away 8 suitcases, signed two children up for school, went to parents night at the school, got my hair done, my nails done, went to the cardiologist, went to the pediatrician, picked up a prescription for antibiotics for Roman's skin infection, took Winston to the dentist, went to Sam's Club, Publics, Costco, gone to lunch twice, watched three movies, cleaned my house, did homework with the children, helped repair a toilet with my mom, went to dinner with my husband. It has been a crazy week, and now I am getting ready to leave for Boston on Thursday for a family reunion. Whew! I am glad to be home none the less. On Saturday night, we went to Stone Mountain to see the firework show. We go every summer and we never get tired of going. We also came home to a gas shortage. We have to be careful not to run out of gas because you just don't know where you are going to find gas. Stations have had to close on some days due to the shortage of gas. The prices are crazy $4.21 a gallon, but I guess after being in Switzerland this is nothing.
